Hygienist appointments can make a big difference to your oral health. During these our hygienist will give your teeth a professional deep clean including cleaning between them and below the gum line. This removes plaque, a constantly forming thin and sticky layer of bacteria which can irritate the gums and cause gum disease.

Our hygienists also offer NSK airflow polish. This is a carefully balanced treatment comprising of air, water and calcium carbonate powder. Round shaped micro-sphere particles are sprayed onto the tooth surface (enamel) to remove extrinsic staining caused by smoking, tea, coffee and red wine consumption. This non destructive, minimally invasive procedure leaves the enamel pristinely smooth and stain free presenting a result of cleaner, whiter looking teeth.
